We are the Monier Family: Eric, Jenny, Jeremiah, Dima, Elijah, and Sammy. Since we brought our son, Dima, home from Ukraine in 2011 our family has had a desire to adopt an older girl with special needs. Last year we found "Channah" and saw that she has waited a very long time for a family of her own. She is 11 years old with Cerebral Palsy. Year after year she has watched many of her friends become part of a family and she has always wondered why not her. It is now her turn to get a family and it is our family's turn to have a daughter!
Our adoption blog, Monday Morning Christians, features the Scripture: Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12. This Scripture has spoken to the depths of our hearts as we continue to advocate not only for our adoption but for orphans from all over the world.
